I don`t think signing a petition will do anything Mr Ghost.It is obvious that us PC gamers are not worth bothering about compared to the consols.
Consol gaming is where the big money is as far as Activision and co are concerned.Take a look at recently released Operation Flashpoint 2,the pc version manual has the keypad controls for the 360 pad (I know you can use the 360 pad for windows games) and it looks like a consol conversion for pc.

It's been on the cards for a while.
Games developers ain't going to stand by for ever while their games get pirated to hell. I believe Cod4 even had dedicated servers up and running advertising the fact that you don't need a genuine copy of the game. And IW are not going to let that happen again.
Plus who knows how many hackers are playing the game, with MW2 they are going to be using VAC, whether it's any better than PB who knows?
And the sad thing is the other game developers are watching, and if it works others will follow, no doubt.
Plus they get more income from consoles.
So I've bit the bullet and bought an Xbox, never thought I'd ever say that. I did have MW2 on pre-order on the PC, cancelled it and ordered the Xbox version instead.
I really do believe that the pirates and hackers where PC gaming is concerned have a lot to answer for.

it aint just pc games that get pirated, the shitbox360 and ps3 are easy to chip,it only cost £20 and u get a free pirate game with that aswell, once there chipped u just have to clone the dvd with some burn software and away u go. u got a pirate its that simple on a console and the shitbox as u will find out are crap my son has had at least ten yes ten they always break, disc drives are shit in them, and u get plenty of cheats on them as u will find out. good luck with it heres a link 4 ya https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RgkNwMEy58w&feature=related

Does your son transfer the games over to the hard drive on the Xbox?
Just as you would for the PC, if he does that the only time the drive spins up is when you first put the game disc in the drive, saves the drive and the the disc from scratching.
Because if on the PC you were playing for 4 or 5 hours non stop every day, the drives wouldn't last that long either.
